Blog 2: Disgaea 3 Absence of Justice

The Disgaea series is a puzzle strategy RPG game that implements many different hilarious references into the game.

1. Key-Frame Animation

This game is highly concentrated in using key-frame animation. The key-frame animation is mostly used for the dramatic scenes when a character uses a certain skill.

The key-frame animation is also used outside the battle where you can move and jump freely to get hidden treasure, buy new items/weapons, upgrade your characters/items/weapons, activate different events, and enter different worlds.

2. Texture Animation

The texture animation is used in a couple different area:
- Rarity Item/Weapon Texture: Different types of texture animation depending on the rarity of the item.
- Giving/Receiving Damage

(Note: All these numbers are legit, since you can get to level 9999 and reborn your character to level 1 while keeping its previous stats, upgrade a specific stats, and you can also upgrade grade you items/weapons to level 200.)
